It was through competitive sports that Dru learned the value of hard
work and an understanding of movement patterns-something she uses to
teach her patients today. Dru played intercollegiate basketball at the
University of California at Davis from 1998 to 2002, which culminated
with Dru as co-captain. While at Davis, Dru earned a bachelor's degree
in exercise science and obtained her doctorate of physical therapy in
2005 from the University of Pacific in Stockton, Ca.
Dru has an
eclectic approach to treatment using manual therapy, functional
training, exercise, and education. She has continued to take courses
to keep up with the latest techniques and theories when it comes to
the treatment of musculoskeletal imbalances and biomechanical
dysfunctions.
In 2010, Dru became board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical
Specialist. When she isn't working with patients, Dru enjoys spending
time with her family and friends along with playing tennis and
basketball and any other active opportunity that comes her way.
